In less than 4 weeks my brother in law is going to marry the most important woman in his life, the nicest girl in the world. Last night was her Hen Do, for my readers across the pond it’s another word for batchelorette party. I can tell you now I was so nervous about going, being in a proper night out outfit, being around pretty and slim girls made me feel incredibly self conscious even though I knew everyone there. We had our eldest nephew round this weekend so my sister and her husband could go to a party for her birthday and enjoy it child free for a change. We went swimming today and I figured why not document it since its my first time swimming since having a stoma. Read more
As I walked in I was greeted by one of my stoma nurses then further round I saw the other. I nearly didn’t recognise them not in their uniforms! Both of them looked lovely. Due to the high amount of people at the open day I didn’t get the chance to take photos.
