The Healthier Food Week

So as promised I have written down the food I have eaten this week and I would definitely say its been better. Don’t get me wrong its not saintly but who the hell wants to live on salad leaves and air? Not me that’s for sure, but hopefully I will shed a few pounds by not filling my face with crap! Well and feel better in myself from not being overloaded from food with empty calories from fat and sugar like in the last diary.

MONDAY
  • Bacon (1) and scrambled egg (1) with cheese sandwich
  • Super Green Soup
  • Moroccan Meatballs and Wild Rice Mix
  •  Peanut Butter Oreos x2
  • Water x2
  • Coffee x2
  • Fresh Orange x3
TUESDAY
  • Bacon Sandwich
  • Super Green Soup
  • Rich Tea Biscuit
  • Moroccan Meatballs and Wild Rice Mix
  • Artic Roll with Strawberry Sauce
  • Coffee x2
  • Water x2
  • Fresh Orange x2
  • Peppermint Tea
WEDNESDAY
  • Nutella on Toast x2
  • Super Green Soup
  • Frosties Cereal Bar
  • Sweet Potato and Chickpea Curry with Wild Rice Mix and Naan bread  (1)
  • Kit Kat Chunky
  • Snickers
  • Fresh Orange x2
  • Peppermint Tea
  • Dr Pepper
  • Large Cordial
THURSDAY
  • 2 Egg Cheese Omelette
  • Snickers
  • Super Green Soup
  • 10″ Stuffed Crust Pizza with Mushrooms, Bolognese, Peppers and Jalapeño
  • Coffee
  • Peppermint Tea
  • Large Cordial x3
FRIDAY
  • Nutella on Toast x2
  • Mint Chocolate Chips Ice Cream
  • Chicken Sandwich in a Cheesy Bun
  • Hummus and Carrots
  • Sweet Potato and Chickpea Curry with Naan and Wild Rice Mix
  • Large Cordial
SATURDAY
  • Nutella on Toast x2
  • Chicken sandwich in a Cheesy Bun
  • Hummus and Carrots
  • Super Green Soup
  • Large Cordial x3
  • Coffee
  • Lemonade
SUNDAY
  • Super Green Soup
  • Ice Cream with 2 Flakes
  • Hummus and Carrots
  • Brie, Turkey and Cranberry Quesadilla
  • Small amount of Pringles
  • Chicken Rice Casserole with Mushrooms, Onion and Carrot with a Cheese Sauce
  • Fresh Orange Juice
  • Small Lemonade x3
  • Coffee x2

So that is my food for the week, I am a firm believer that you should have a little bit of what you fancy or you will pig out on the less than great stuff.

  1. This is a fab idea, I think I need to do this to try and keep track of what I’m eating as sometimes I let my appetite run away with me. This would help me focus and although I wouldn’t stop snacking or having bits of what I fancy, I could definitely keep a closer eye on it. Not too sure I like the sound of Super Green Soup though! Xx

    1. It’s Jamie Oliver’s recipe from his Superfood cookbook! Potato, chickpea, kale (although I use leek/cabbage) and chorizo xxx
