You Can’t Go Over It, You Can’t Go Under It

you can't go over it and you can't go under it

You have to go through it! I love the book We’re going on a bear hunt and that phrase went through my head as we had another three generation ladies day  (sorry I keep putting that as Geordie the dog is a boy) this time we kept it local by going for a walk into Cliff Ridge Wood. Read more

Birthday Times At The Beach

birthday times at the beach

So yesterday was my mam’s birthday. The original plan was to go round and do some painting and stuff. After a lovely early lunch of eggy bread, my mam decided she wanted to go to a beach. I mean it was a glorious day weather wise. So once my dad had had his lunch (he was on a lunch break from work) we set off to mine to get a ticket for sea life printed, Ra-Ra’s net/bucket and spade, coat in case it got cold. I find this sometimes with regards to even emptying it sometimes. I usually empty it about when it’s 1/4 way full when it’s not playing well with me and decides to be overly watery. But when it’s being too thick I just leave it as long as I can because it doesn’t fill up as fast. But yesterday the Tour De Yorkshire came through our village and I had promised Ra-Ra that 00Steve and I would take her to see the bikes. Read more

Tears But No Fears

nurse

So I got in touch with the Stoma nurse yesterday and mentioned my sore skin, leak and the fact my stoma seems to have fallen slightly. She asked if I would like to go in and just be checked over as everything she needed was there rather than a home visit. So off we toddled to the Friarage, 00Steve and Ra-Ra stayed in the car watching Mickey Mouse (much to his dismay) Read more
