I fought very hard to get to see a dietitian because I knew I really needed some help with my base diet so I can try and get healthier. So I went to see the dietitian yesterday and she was saying she is quite happy with my food variation but I can obviously do things to make it better and more well rounded, which will ultimately benefit me. So I had a lot happening this weekend. For starters I went back to work as of Friday. Before my shift we went to Whitby, then Saturday it was two of my best friends no scratch that sisters joint birthdays, then yesterday we went swimming with Spuddles and had a family BBQ. Read more
With an ileostomy I know a lot of people worry about eating vegetables and salad for the risk of blockages or the fear that they may irritate their IBD. Well I found recently that I can eat salad again or at least I’ve eaten it everyday this week and had no problems so far *touch wood*
So as promised I have written down the food I have eaten this week and I would definitely say its been better. Don’t get me wrong its not saintly but who the hell wants to live on salad leaves and air? Not me that’s for sure, but hopefully I will shed a few pounds by not filling my face with crap! Well and feel better in myself from not being overloaded from food with empty calories from fat and sugar like in the last diary.
I am so tired today. I promised Ra-Ra we could go up the mountain (that’s what she calls Roseberry Topping) through the woods. I decided to do that today whilst 00Steve is away on his brothers stag do. I made up a picnic and got Ra-Ra all sun creamed up and off we went. Read more
