These posts maybe sporadic but as long as I remember to take photos of my food then it should end up more frequent *insert see no evil monkey emoji lol* Read more

Vegan/Vegetarian With An Ileostomy?

vegan diet with an ostomy

So I get a few comments or raised eyebrows over what I can and can’t eat. I eat predominantly a vegetarian/vegan diet but I do still on occasion eat meat and this is usually limited to white meat. I don’t have this diet for any particular animal rights or even strict dietary requirements. Well and feel better in myself from not being overloaded from food with empty calories from fat and sugar like in the last diary.

Food Issues

eating disorder

So after years of having an awful relationship with food, I get very stroppy about not being able to eat what I want (most of the time swayed by TV! Damn my weak constitution) When my Ulcerative Colitis first started to flare up I was full swing with an eating disorder. Most people say oh that’s what triggered it. I still get immensely annoyed at this comment because it’s a genetic disease, I was destined to have the bloody thing. Read more
